Hello, Erica! Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question. It sounds like you are planning a magical holiday this summer!
Since the Disneyland Resort theme parks reopened last year, guests have been required a obtain a valid theme ticket and park reservation for each day they plan to visit. If you are able to
buy your tickets directly through the Disneyland website, the reservation process is now combined into the ticket purchasing transaction, so it's all done simultaneously. However, if you decide to get your tickets elsewhere, making a
theme park reservation is a separate step you must complete after purchasing your ticket(s) and linking it to your Disneyland account.
Because tickets are non-refundable, I always recommend checking
Disneyland's Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar before buying to ensure the parks and dates you want to visit are available. There are separate calendars with different availability depending on several factors: one for one-park-per-day tickets, another for Park Hopper tickets, and separate ones for Magic Key holders (Annual Passes) and
Disney Hotel guests. Click the tab that matches your desired ticket type.
If you still need a Disneyland account, visit the
website for a link to register (click the green button). I also suggest downloading the
Disneyland Mobile App before your trip. I spoke to my UK friend
Jane today, and she said the download process was quick and easy peasy!
I hope I was able to answer your question today, Erica! If there's anything else we can do, remember the planDisney Panel is all ears!
