We are hoping to visit the Polynesian Resort for a little shopping and walk-up dining. We are staying at a different resort on Disney property. Will we be able to park now in 2026 without a dining reservation? I heard this is now possible.

Hot dog, Erin! You are just days away from your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I hope you’ve started your countdown to Disney!

Erin, Guests who are visiting a Walt Disney World Resort hotel for purposes of shopping, dining, or enjoying activities and entertainment offered at the hotel may use self-parking at the hotel for no fee

It is important for Guests to know that parking is limited to Guests of the hotel during high-demand seasons. If that is the case, I recommend going from your resort hotel to one of the theme parks and then taking transportation to the resort hotel you want to visit.

For example, if you are staying at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort but want to visit Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, you should take the bus from Coronado Springs to Magic Kingdom. Once you arrive at Magic Kingdom, board the Monorail or a boat headed to the Polynesian.

Again, that is just an example of how to avoid having to park your own car at a hotel during high-demand times when parking might be limited to Guests only. Erin, feel free to send another question if you want to share exactly where you are traveling from to visit the Polynesian. We can offer more specific advice! Have a great visit this week!

    Dreams do come true!
