hoping to visit May 2012, which are the quieter 2 weeks 2 go 7th-21st or 14-28, not sure when spring break is, also stayed in WL last time, but thinking of saratoga this time. will it be as fab. Want to try new but its got a lot to live up 2.

    Hi Amanda,

I have good news for you.  Spring break in the United States will be over by May so either of the time frames you propose would be good with regard to park attendance rates.  The earlier one will probably be less busy because it is further from Memorial Day weekend, but I think you will find either option quite agreeable.

Now, as for the second part of your question, I'm going to give you a very biased answer.  I have stayed at both Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.  They are both lovely but my hands-down favorite is Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  This resort has the best theming of any Disney resort, in my opinion, and you can't beat its proximity to the Magic Kingdom.  If you're looking for something new but really enjoyed your experience at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, perhaps you'd like to try Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge this time.  This resort is close to Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park and it was designed by the same architect who designed Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

Let us know if there's anything else you'd like to know about any of these resorts.  Between my colleagues on the Moms Panel, we've stayed at all of the Disney resorts and would be happy to share what we know.

Have fun with your vacation planning!
