Hi Jordan! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Typically when my family travels to the Walt Disney World Resort, we tend to stay at
Disney’s Pop Century Resort. This resort is a family favorite due to the great theme and plentiful kid activities at the pool. We also really love the Everything Pop Shopping and Dining and the value that this Resort hotel offers!
I do agree that a big draw to staying at this value resort is the fact that it doesn’t share a bus with any other Resort hotels! In my experience I have found that the buses tend to be quick, efficient, and timely. They even have a “double bus” as my son calls it to transport guests to and from Magic Kingdom Park. This bus is like two put together and holds a lot more people than the normal bus. Complimentary Resort Transportation typically picks up and drops off every 15-20 minutes. Bus transportation also begins running approximately 45 minutes prior to park opening and up to one hour after park closing.
If you plan on park hopping and do not need to go back to your Resort hotel, a lot of the theme parks offer transportation from one park to another. If you are at Epcot or Magic Kingdom you can take advantage of the Monorail to switch between these parks. You will just have to change Monorails at the Ticket and Transportation Center. If you are in need of guidance while at the Walt Disney World Resort, simply ask a Cast Member and they will point you in the right direction!
Above all else make sure to save time to slow down and enjoy all of the magic that is sure to surround you! I hope that I have helped to answer your question!
Have a magical time!
