Hi Yasmin, welcome to planDisney!
I
sea you'll be setting sail on a magical Disney Cruise Line voyage soon. Prepare to enjoy top-notch performances, rub elbows with Disney royalty, and partake in all-you-can-eat ice cream cones. Is there room in your suitcase for me?!
You are welcome to bring your luggage with you to Disney Springs for a pre-flight escapade. I was in a similar situation last month and visited Disney Springs with carry-on luggage. Be prepared for Cast Members to go through your bags at security. There is, unfortunately, nowhere to store your luggage once you've arrived, but there are plenty of benches if you want to establish a home base and trade off who gets to babysit the luggage while everyone else walks around.
I got off my first Disney Cruise in July and spent close to six hours hanging out at Orlando International Airport. In hindsight, I'd much rather have spent that time hanging out at Disney Springs. My suitcase was pretty full but I would've made room for cookies from
Gideon's Bakehouse or something sudsy from
Basin.
I hope you and your party have a magical Disney Cruise Line vacation, Yasmin. If you have any cruise-specific questions, my pals
Adrianna and
Andrew are all EARS!
Anchors aweigh,
Jennifer
