I am hoping to Visit Disney with my family Oct 2012. I understand some of the new Fantasyland should be opened late 2012 do you know what attractions are opening in the first phase?

    Hi Melissa!
That is the $64,000 question. At this point, the construction in Fantasyland is still somewhat "fluid", meaning that although things are going smoothly, it is still too early to pinpoint the schedule. I was recently at the D23 Expo in California and in speaking with the Imagineers who are working on the project, their "hope" is that most of the Fantasyland Expansion will be open by "late 2012" as you mention, but they did not specify. I would stay tuned to Disney Parks Blog and other sources of Disney info for the latest updates.
I hope that things are ready in time for your visit, because from what I saw, it is going to be incredible!! :)
