Adrianne Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

i was hoping to view a list of disabilities that qualify for a GAC there is a child in our group that has ADD & ADHD it is very difficult for them to stand in long lines and i don't the other kids to miss on the fun. thank you

Hi Adrianne! The Guest Assistance Cards that are given out in the parks are for the "invisible" issues that guests might have. There are no specific lists.  Anyone with mobility disabilities do not need the card as the cast members can see they need assistance and will help them at all attractions.

You will just need to go to the Guest Service window in the parks and ask for a card. You will just need to tell them one of the children will need assistance that day.  A card is generally given for the person and up to five other family members. If this is a large group you will need to discuss how you will split up.

Please also understand that this Guest Assistance Card is not going to give you easy or quick access to the attractions. It will simply allow you to wait in a different area that perhaps will be quieter then the normal queue for the ride.  Just because you have the card it will not allow you to "line jump". In fact sometimes you can find the wait longer as they are working you in. You might want to consider yourself and the child use the card and the others wait in the usual area.  Also if an attraction calls for a Fast Pass you are encouraged to also get a Fast Pass as that will help speed your wait time.
