We are hoping to travel to WDW in October for our 17th anniversary. We are trying to plan to go with another couple whom we met on our honeymoon and have been friends with ever since. I was wondering what Disney might do for occasions like this?

    Hi there, Cindy!

Walt Disney World is absolutely legendary for celebrations - and for bringing friends and family together.

On a small scale, make sure to mention your exciting news to the Cast Member who makes your travel arrangements at (407) W-DISNEY. It'll go in your file, and who knows what magic might happen? And when you check in, ask your Cast Member for some complimentary celebration buttons: there's Happy Anniversary for the two of you, and I'm Celebrating for your entire party.

You can also call 48 hours in advance of a meal and have a custom cake delivered to your table. The "cakeline" is (407) 827-2253.

Surprise your sweetheart with something from the Disney Dream Makers. They have a variety of available options, and will work to customize anything possible to make your celebration extra special. Give them a call at (407) WDW-GIFT.

Consider the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage for your whole group. You'll have breathtaking seating for Wishes and the Electric Water Pageant, a hysterical Pirate host, delicious refreshments, and some surprise character interactions along the way. Call (407) WDW-PLAY to book this one; as with dining reservations, you may reserve a spot on a Specialty Cruise 180 days before your arrival.

    Have a magical time!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
