We are hoping to travel to WDW after the Easter rush of 2011. The dates (not finalized) would be from April 26th to the 29th. Will the parks be busy? And are there any special post-Easter deals?

Hi, Matthew! Way to be thinking about avoiding peak levels of crowds already! Unfortunately, Disney doesn't put vacation packages on clearance like the local convenience store does after Easter (where I stock up on Cadbury Creme Eggs.) I can only imagine how nuts I'd go if Disney offered comparable discounts.

If you can push your vacation back a couple more days and visit in May instead of April, the price of your room per night will be less. Easter season (which is like "super" peak season) is from April 17 to April 30. Regular season pricing begins on May 1.

In terms of crowds, the parks will be packed on April 26 and April 27 with Easter crowds. They then taper off as the week winds down. Crowd levels are much more manageable in May.

The Special Offers page on the Disney World website updates regularly. I don't see many offers listed on there now. I'd recommend popping over to MouseSavers.com for other options that might save you some money.
