We are hoping to travel in October to WDW and like the dining plan....what happens if we purchase now and free dining gets offered for those dates within a few months ? Do we get credit or should we wait to book?

    Hi Rachel,

Glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I see you are planning a vacation for next October. How wonderful!

Two must-see events you do not want to miss. Mickey and his friends want to Trick or Treat in Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. And you can experience the music and eats from the whole world in Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.

We love the Disney Dining Plans. And if there's a Special Offer for free dining, sign me up! When you book a Magic Your Way Vacation Package, you only need to place a $200 deposit. The balance will become due 30 days before arrival. So, if an offer comes out, you would only need to speak to a Vacation Planning Specialist or your travel agent, to apply the offer. Remember that availability is usually limited, so you may need to adjust your Resort hotel or travel dates to take advantage of it.

One last tip: remember you can book dining reservations up to 180 days before your Check-In. So once you link your reservation to your My Disney Experience account, just visit the Walt Disney World Restaurants and Reservations page. Happy planning!
