Ho, Ho, Ho, Kirsty!
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for stopping by with your question. Kirsty, Christmas and Disney go hand-in-hand, and during this time of year, Walt Disney World becomes the merriest place on earth. I got to enjoy
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party last year for the first time in a few years, and it was truly magical. From the snow falling on Main Street, U.S.A. to the specialty treat stations for complimentary seasonal cookies and drinks, to even seeing Santa Claus greet Guests in his grotto, it was the best of both worlds - the holidays and Disney!
Kirsty, the dates and tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party have not yet been announced. Mickey keeps some things close to his vest, but he may be spilling the cheese soon. I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog, as this is where all of the latest official announcements come out first.
While this hasn't been confirmed for 2025, in years past, eligible Disney Vacation Members received a discount on the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets on select dates. If it is offered again this year, this is how you can get that discounted pricing.
First, you want to ensure your Disney Vacation Club Membership is linked to your My Disney Experience account. When purchasing the special event tickets, you will need to be logged into your My Disney Experience account, and then, if offered, you should see two pricing options just above the event calendar. One will be regular pricing and the other will say "pricing for DVC Members." You want to click that button. If you do not see DVC pricing, it could be that a discounted price is not available on that date, that you are not logged in, your Membership isn't connected, or you are not eligible for a discount.
In my experience, tickets are usually available for a bit, but they do sell out. I would recommend purchasing them as soon as possible, so you are not disappointed. If you are unable to acquire the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets on the website before they are sold out, you can also check Guest Services or the ticket window at Magic Kingdom Park on the day of the event. Sometimes a few are available - in fact, this is how I got a ticket last year. It's not a guarantee, but it is another way to ensure you don't miss the magic and celebrate the season with Mickey and friends.
I hope this helps you, Kirsty! If you have any further Disney planning questions, stop back here to see me, and I'll be so happy to help you.
Magically Yours,
Keri
