Hello! I was hoping you can tell me the difference between Counter Service & Quick Service? Also, can you use a snack credit from the dining plan to purchase a pastry at bakeries like Boulangerie Patisserie in France or Kringla Bakeri og Cafe in Germa

    Jennifer,

I'm happy to tell you that counter service as quick service restaurants are the same thing! The terms are used interchangeably and refer to any locations at the WDW resort where you order from a menu "fast food" style.

Table service restaurants require you to be seated by a hostess, served by a waiter/waitress (even at buffets the waiter will at least bring your drinks) and often require a reservation.

Snack credits can be used at the bakeries. For items that are included on the Disney Dining Plan, look for the DDP logo. If you don't see the logo near the item, ask a Cast Member.

Have fun snacking around the World!
