I was hoping to stay 2 nights at Caribbean Beach Resort and 2 nights at Fort Wilderness Lodge. Is it possible to book a vacation with a hotel switch halfway through?

    Hi there, Kelsey!

I'm so happy to hear you are planning a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth - Walt Disney World Resort! With all of the awesome Disney Resorts Collection hotels to choose from, it's hard to pick just one. A split stay is a great way to immerse yourself in the magic of not one, but two fantastic Disney resorts.

Guests who book a split stay at Walt Disney World Resort can enjoy complimentary Bell Services that will transport their luggage from one resort to the next. On the morning of your departure, simply call Bell Services from the phone in your room, and they will come pick up your belongings - they'll give you a claim ticket with your name and the number of items, which will be your receipt you'll need when you arrive at the second resort to pick up your bags. Since check-in is around 4pm, we typically head out to enjoy a day at the theme parks or Disney Springs until we receive a notification that our second room is ready. (We always take advantage of Online Check-In so we can go straight to our resort room without needing to stop at the Front Desk!) Once you're in your new room, with a quick call to Bell Services your bags will be on their way to your room! While tipping is not required, we always keep some cash on hand to thank the awesome Bell Services Team for their work.

While at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, make sure to check out the Fuentes del Morro Pool - a zero-entry pirate's paradise - it's awesome! You'll also be able to take advantage of the super-convenient Disney Skyliner Transportation, where you can take to the skies in a colorful gondola to travel to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. During your stay at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, I highly recommend a visit to Geyser Point Bar & Grill - an open-air lounge with a gorgeous view of Bay Lake. With menu offerings like Cheesy Barbeque Brisket and the Bacon Bison Burger, it's the perfect spot for a quick bite on the spacious outdoor porch. It's our favorite!

I hope this helps with your planning, and you'll soon have a Walt Disney World Resort vacation on the calendar to look forward to! Please come back to visit us here at planDisney for tips and suggestions to add a little extra magic to your trip!
