Hi We are hoping to stay at a Disney resort hotel for a few days and then travel on, is it possible to get car hire from a resort, if so what car hire company do you recommend

Welcome Wayfinder June to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I will be happy to help you discover “how far you can go” while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort!

If you are looking to rent a vehicle while staying at the Walt Disney World Resort, there are two locations to choose from. The first is The Car Care Center located near Magic Kingdom Park, the second is located at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. Both locations offer car rentals through Alamo Rent-A-Car and National Car Rental.

When my family rented a vehicle, while staying at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, we took advantage of the Complimentary Shuttle Service. We set up a pick up time for my husband to take the shuttle to the Disney Car Care Center by calling and scheduling a time that worked best for him to pick up the rental for us. While he did that, my Mouseketeers and I finished getting ready and grabbed breakfast at Everything POP Shopping and Dining. He was back with our rental within the hour and after breakfast we were off to explore for the day!

You are able to return your rental to The Car Care Center or Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. You are even able to return your vehicle to any Alamo Rent-A-Car or National Car Rental location as well, depending on which rental company you go through.

I hope this has helped you find your way June! If you have any more questions for us here at the panel, you know where to find us

    Enjoy Voyager!

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Alabama

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
