I was hoping to take my son to chip and dale's camp fire at fort wilderness, but we are staying at all star movies, so can we go to it even though we're not guests of that resort? and how difficult would it be to get back to our hotel?

Hi, Kaitlyn! Oh, sure! Any and all Disney guests are invited to Chip n' Dale's Campfire Sing-a-Long & Movie at Fort Wilderness. My recommendation is to plan on going on a day when you're visiting the Magic Kingdom. Then, after a day at the park, you can simply take the boat launch to Fort Wilderness from the MK. From the Fort's boat dock, walk past Pioneer Hall to the internal bus stop, and once you board the bus, make sure the bus driver knows that you want to stop at the Meadow Trading Post Area for the Campfire Program.  Depending on the time of year, the Campfire Program starts around 7 or 8 p.m.

If you're not coming from the MK but rather directly from All Star Movies, you can take Disney resort transportation to one of the parks or Downtown Disney and then transfer to a bus for Fort Wilderness. From the Outpost at FW, you'll need to take the internal bus system to the Meadow Recreation Area --  which sits about 1/2-way between the Outpost and the Settlement -- about a one-mile walk!

There's a snack bar with hot dogs, nachos and the like as well as supplies for s'mores! I hope this helps you plan. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
