I was hoping someone can give me some advice where to stay/what rooms to stay in for late April 2016 (for kids ages 12 and 8) on a budget. Any tips are appreciated. We would like to get the most/do the most while there. Much thanks.

    Hi Nichole!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your family will absolutely fall in love with the magic of Disney!

Start building a Magic Your Way Vacation Package by selecting your Disney Resort Hotel. The biggest cost associated with your Disney vacation will be the lodging. Since you've indicated that you are on a budget, I recommend booking a Disney Value Resort Hotel. These whimsical resorts are distinctly themed with larger-than-life iconic Disney characters. If your vacation plans aren't a surprise, invite your children to browse through those options with you. It might be a good way to determine which resort they might prefer. Please don't forget to check any Special Offers that may be applied to your specific dates.

Once lodging has been decided, you may select multi-day tickets for the number of days you'll be visiting the parks. I recommend adding Base Tickets, which will allow you to visit exactly one Disney theme park per day. Afterward, start planning your touring days through My Disney Experience. Make FastPass+ selections for attractions, book dining reservations and arrange for entertainment options. If you can splurge on just one thing, I recommend adding the Memory Maker option to your package too. It's such a great value!

Instead of trying to "do it all" on this trip, focus on what's most important to you and your family. As you continue to plan your visit, please come back with any other questions you may have for us.

Wishing you an unforgettable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
