    Hoping to sign myself and my kids 9 and 12 up for a RunDisney 5K. I have an account set up through Active can I register my children under my account or will they need their own Active account ? Thank You for your help !

    Welcome to the wonderful world of runDisney, Rebecca! 

    The first step in successfully trying to secure a spot in a runDisney event is to setup an account with Active.com and to make sure you are logged in come registration time, it allows the process to run a little bit faster - which is important when trying to complete mutuple registrations. 

    You will not need to create individual accounts for your kiddos! In fact, that would slow you down because you would need to sign out and then back in for each registration. Plus, if they're under the age of 18, you would need to register them anyway. As long as you are signed in under your account, you'll be good to go. Once you get past the login page, you will see an option that looks like this: 

    Registration

    SELECT PARTICIPANT

    *Who are you registering for this event? 

    • Yourself, someone over 18 (your name will appear here if you are signed in)
    • Someone else, below 18

    You will select the first option to register yourself, complete the registration form, complete payment, and then start all over again to complete your subsequent registrations for your kids by selecting the second option. I suggest doing a mock registration with a race currently open for sale so you can practice and see what it looks like, just exit at the payment screen :)
