Ahoy, Stephanie!
Thank you so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
I'm thrilled to hear you'll be traveling as Concierge Guests on your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation. My family had the opportunity to cruise in a Concierge Level stateroom on one of our last cruises, and it was such an amazing experience! While
every guest on a Disney Cruise is treated like a VIP, the Concierge service
really takes it to another level. Our favorite perks were the Concierge Lounge and private sundeck - complete luxury! The Cast Members treated us like family, and were there to help with any special requests during our sailing. It's definitely an experience we'd like to have again someday!
Another awesome perk of Concierge is the ability to begin booking Onboard Activities and extras at 120 days prior to your sail date. This works to your advantage if you'd like to reserve one of the fabulous cabanas on Disney's private island,
Castaway Cay. Guests must have their cruise paid in full before their advance booking window opens, so make sure to have any outstanding payments processed a few days prior.
If you're able to reserve one of the cabanas, you'd probably not be able to add any other (non-Concierge) guests to the reservation until their advance booking window opens. First-time cruisers can begin booking Onboard Activities at 75 days out, Silver Castaway Club at 90 days out, and Gold Castaway Club at 105 days prior to your sail date. Once you've booked the cabana, I'd recommend getting in touch with Disney Cruise Line directly at (800)951-3532 to see what you'll need to do to add the other guests to your cabana reservation.
My fingers are crossed that the pixie dust falls your way, and you're able to reserve a cabana on your vacation!
Have a magical day! - Diane W.
