I am hoping to get a reservation at Steakhouse 71 then a reservation for the Ferrytale fireworks on the same night. I was wondering if 1. Dinner at 5 would be plenty of time, and 2. Where to park for dinner and the Ferryboat?

Hi Sarah and Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by and sending us this great question. I'm happy to help!

You have some great plans for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! As you probably know, Steakhouse 71 is one of the newest dining locations and the dinner menu is amazing! I just looked at the start time for Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom Park to help determine a good time for your advanced dining reservation. I would say that 5:00 would allow for plenty of time to enjoy dinner and you could even plan for dinner starting at 6:00 and still have time before the fireworks cruise. It is important to note that the boat will set sail 50 minutes prior to the fireworks spectacular and there will be no further boarding at that time. Disney Enchantment is currently scheduled for 9:00 p.m. that week.

Because you will have a dinner reservation at Steakhouse 71, complimentary standard self-parking is included at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The check-in for Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise is to the left of the ferryboat launch at the Transportation and Ticket Center. While it's close by, you will need to allow time to drive there. According to driving directions, it will take approximately six minutes to drive from the hotel to the Ticket and Transportation Center.

I hope this information helps with your planning! If you have more questions, please visit us again at planDisney. We would love to help you feel ready to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    Happy Planning!
