hoping to register myself and 2 teens 10k for RunDisney marathon weekend in Jan. The blog with registration tips says to have all information for all runners ready - what information do we need to have? Thanks!!

    Hi Lisa!

Running through Epcot as the sun rises with my teens is one of my favorite memories. Participating in the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend 10k will be one for the memory books! Experiencing the parks through a runDisney event is a unique experience I can't recommend enough. The early morning hour view of the park, the camaraderie, the cheering spectators, and having that shiny medal placed around your neck are a fantastic reward for all your hard training.

Before registration day, make sure your My Disney Experience account is accessible and up to date. On registration day, be online with runDisney a few minutes before 10:00 am. For each participant, you will need birthdays, t-shirt sizes, and contact information. For a half or full marathon, a proof of time is needed for coral placement, but this is not required for a 10k.

Once you've secured your registration and mapped out your training plan, you can begin my favorite part of prepping for a runDisney event- planning the running costumes!

    Run like Cinderella at midnight!
