Hiya Mario,
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for submitting your question to us.
As a fellow planner, I am happy to see you plan a visit to
Walt Disney World Resort! Planning the trip is one of my favorite parts. Don’t worry, there are services available for Guests who require
mobility assistance (such as
Transfer Devices and
Parking), so you’re sure to have an enjoyable visit!
According to the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, “Wheeled mobility devices with less than 3 wheels or devices that cannot maintain stability and balance when stopped, unpowered and/or unoccupied are prohibited. Training wheels and/or modifications are not permitted. Devices must be manually or electrically powered and operated at a walking pace. Devices should be single rider and not exceed 36" (92 cm) in width and 52" (132 cm) in length.” Be sure to check the dimensions on your electric scooter before arrival to ensure admission into the parks, as Disney reserves the right to prohibit the use or storage of any other item not listed above that they determine may be harmful or disruptive at their sole discretion.
If you cannot find an electric scooter that fits these dimensions, you can
rent an Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV)! Walt Disney World Resort has ECVs and wheelchairs available to rent at all Walt Disney World theme and water parks as well as
Disney Springs. ECVs are available on a first-come, first-served basis for daily use. I recommend arriving early and going straight to the ECV rental to secure the ECVs before entering the parks. Guests can also bring and use their own ECVs and/or wheelchairs, provided they meet the dimensions above.
The magic awaits!
