I am hoping to purchase the 3- Day SoCal Resident Tickets for me and my boyfriend. He has lived in CA for 5+ years, but he has an ID from another state. I know a valid CA ID is required to purchase tickets, but does he need to have a CA ID for park entry?

    Hello Nancy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We’re so happy you’re here with a question!

The SoCal Resident Ticket Offer is such a great deal! I’m happy you’re planning to take advantage of it and purchase tickets! You’re able to choose between a 3-day, 1 park per day ticket or a 3-day Park Hopper ticket. Tickets include one Magic Morning early admission at Disneyland Park and are valid through May 21, 2020.

The SoCal Resident Ticket requires proof of Southern California residency in order to gain theme park entry. If your boyfriend has applied for a new license but has not received it in the mail yet, he can use his temporary driver’s license. The temporary ID should reflect eligible residency within ZIP codes 90000-93599. If he is unable to obtain a temporary ID before your visit, he should bring a copy of a bill or statement with his name listed on it. I would recommend bringing a lease contract or mortgage statement and any utility bills that list his name and address. Feel free to call Disneyland Resort Ticket Sales at (714) 781-4636 for more information.
