Hi Mandi!
With a family of seven, I am always looking for ways to stretch my Disney Dollars. Most resort rooms at Walt Disney World will accommodate 4 or 5 guests plus a child under the age of three in a pack 'n' play and Disney's Family Suites will hold up to 6 guests plus a child under the age of three. If any of your children are under the age of three, you might consider one of Disney's Family Suites at Disney's new Art of Animation.
Another great option inexpensive option, is The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. The cabins will accommodate 6 guests, plus a child under the age of three and includes a full size kitchen that will allow you to easily make meals to keep budget costs down, plus lots of activities that are fun for the whole family.
Your least expensive option would be to book connecting rooms at anyone of Disney's Value Resorts followed by Disney's Moderate Resorts, make sure to specify connecting if you would like to be able to easily go between the two rooms. If you would like to have a bit more room to spread out during your vacation, you may want to take a look at Disney's Vacation Club Villas. These rooms are a bit more expensive than connecting rooms at Disney's Value Resort, but offer the amenities of a Deluxe Resort and a lot more space.
No matter what you decide, make sure to check out
Disney's Special Offers page as discounts are available throughout the year at most Walt Disney World resorts.Even after you have booked your vacation, you can still add any discount to your reservation. Most discounts will be available several months before the actual travel dates,so make sure to plan early in order to take advantage of the savings.
I hope this helps, Mandi and if you need anymore help planning your family's Walt Disney World vacation, please visit me again!
Happy Planning!
