Hi Amber,
Welcome to planDisney!
Planning a visit to the Walt Disney World® Resort during the Christmas holiday season sounds like you are in the midst of some
practically perfect planning! There are a number of activities and celebrations happening during the
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. It sounds like you may have been taking a look at dates for
Mickey's Verry Merry Christmas Party which ends on December 20th this year.
My family also adores the Candlelight Processional and the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays presented by AdventHealth. The narrators, choir, and the orchestra for the Candlelight Processional have been phenomenal so we always book a
Candlelight Processional Dining Package to get tickets for the show. Take a look at one of the Disney Parks Blog announcements,
New Candlelight Processional Celebrity Narrators to Headline 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays Beginning Nov. 24 to see details about last year's show. My girls and I have usually booked a dining package that gives us access to one of the earlier shows.
As you continue making plans, consider visiting
Disney Jollywood Nights and enjoy the festivities happening during the
Holidays at Disney Springs including the
Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll Presented by AdventHealth. December truly is a special time of year at the Walt Disney World® Resort and there are special decorations and experiences in the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs through the end of the month. We have actually visited in early January in prior years and seen some of the holiday decorations still up!
Amber, I do hope you have booked a
vacation package with a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel and
theme park tickets. Keep an eye on the
Special Offers and do some comparison pricing if you have not done so already. Like you, my family has a December trip planned. We cannot wait to experience the joy of this holiday season!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
