Hey Jessica! Thanks for stopping by planDisney. As a fellow Kansan, there’s nothing better than planning a warm vacation to Walt Disney World in early Spring. In fact, I’m actually in the very early stages of making a similar reservation for my family so perhaps we’ll catch the same flight.
First off, for large groups, I always recommend looking into the family suites at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and the multi-bedroom
Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.
If you don’t want to stay in the same Resort hotel or room, there are plenty of ways you can still share activities, FastPass+ selections, and reservations with others… plus they can even make plans for you. This is the absolute best when it comes to making dining reservations for a large party. Every time we’ve traveled with a large party, we’ve found that it’s best that each family do their own thing during the days, but dinner dining reservations were a perfect way to bring everyone back together after a fantastic day in the parks.
To get started, simply go to your
Family & Friends list and choose “Add a New Guest.” You’ll see 3 options for adding New Friends.
You’ll also want to look into
Disney’s Memory Maker as up to 25 members from your Family & Friends list will be able to access all of these photos and videos. Trust me, it’s totally worth it, but be sure to Advance Purchase for an extra discount.
As a final tip, keep a close eye on Disney’s “
Know Before You Go” page as we approach March. During the phased reopening, I’ve found this page to be the most helpful for up-to-date information.
If you have any other questions please let us know. Otherwise, be sure to tell Mickey I said hello!
