Hi Tina,
Welcome to planDisney!
I am so excited to see that you are planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
If you are planning to park hop to Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can still make advanced dining and other select reservations, but be advised that park hopping may be halted if the park reaches capacity. When I was in Magic Kingdom on October 1 recently, we saw an alert that indicated park hopping was temporarily unavailable. Having a dining or other reservation will not guarantee you park entry when trying to park hop. And, if you are unable to make a reservation, you may incur a penalty based on the cancellation stipulations.
Review the
Entertainment options in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Also be sure to review
Disney Genie and Disney Genie+ service to see which attractions are available using Disney Genie+. Check the availability calendar and/or times for each show and/or attraction as well.
Beauty & the Beast Live On Stage, for example, has specific show times listed. At this time, reservations are not required, so if you were able to park hop, you should just be able to enter the theater pending crowd levels for the show.
Tina, I hope this helps! If you have not yet made
advanced dining reservations, I encourage you to do so. On my recent visits, dining reservations have been so important given the crowds and the fact that some dining locations have yet to reopen. Keep an eye on the
operational updates, especially the
theme park experience updates. Happy planning!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
