Hoping to go to WDW dec 5-10 or 12-17. I would think earlier in Dec is better but there are no value resorts available during dec 5-10. There are rooms and even discounts for Dec 12-17-do you think this is cutting it too close to christmas crowds?

Hi Ayse.   Actually, I know December 12-17 will be an ideal time to visit.    The few weeks leading up to the week of Christmas are among the slowest times of the year.   Crowds will start to increase closer to the 22nd, at which point you will have returned to the comfort of your home.

Part of the reason why Value resorts may be booked between Dec 5-10 is that Pop Warner Football takes place that week (7th - 12th).   The fact that discounts remain for this time is also another good indication of expected crowds.   Hope this helps!
