Hi, I was hoping to go to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on my arrival day. Will Disney allow me to change dates if there are flight delays? I am worried if there were flight delays we would miss most of the party.

Hi Sara! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and Boo to You!

I hope you’re ready for a spooky good time at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! It is a wonderful choice for the first day of your vacation, as you do not need to use a Theme Park ticket for party admission, and can enter the Parks by 4 pm, with the party usually beginning at 7 pm. With special character experiences, dining choices, parades and nighttime spectaculars, this party is a must-do! I attended one with my family in August, and while I was not sure if we would be able to get into the Halloween mood in late summer, we were certainly able to in no time, and would love to go back!

That being said, I can understand the concern that you have regarding potential flight delays affecting what time you arrive for the party. I spoke with Guest Services regarding your question, and they informed me that the ability to change the date of the party would be on a case by case basis, pending timing and ticket availability. The best way to accomplish this would be to make sure you call ticket services at (407) 939-5277 as soon as you know of any travel delays, and I’m sure they’ll do everything they can to sort things out for you!

Sara, I wish you a magical vacation (and no flight delays!) so that you can go celebrate Halloween in the best way I know how -- with Mickey and all his friends! Make sure you pack your costumes in a carry-on bag! Also be sure you do not miss the specially themed fireworks show, and if it is offered again this year, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular is simply spellbinding!

Please come back to see us if we can be of any more help during your planning process!

    See ya real soon!
