    Hoping to go on our first Disney trip in 2012. Fam of four w/ 2 kids-ages = 7 & 13). Will April 21-28, 2012 be super crowded yet from the easter holiday earlier in month? Other option is April 28-May 5. Is heat an issue in early May?

    Your dates sound perfect for that time of the year! We went to Walt Disney World around that same time of year eight years ago and it was a wonderful trip. Waiting in the lines was very reasonable and the temperature was great. While it was in the upper seventies to lower eighties the heat didn't feel as bad. Your other option is a great choice as well! Both of your choices fall during the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival and that is something not to miss! The heat will be a little more as you get into mid May but it's still not as bad as mid July.
