    Hi, I was hoping you can give me some info on the Fireworks Cruise. We are a party of 5, my wife and I and our three children ages 30, 29 & 24. We are celebrating my retirement! We are staying @ the Wilderness Lodge. Thanks

    Hello Mark and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
    You have asked a question about one of my favorite special things to do at the Walt Disney World Resort- Specialty Cruises. Two different firework spectaculars can be viewed from one of the specialty cruises. Magic Kingdom's Wishes nighttime spectacular can be viewed from one of the cruises that depart from the marinas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Contemporary Resort, or Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Epcot's IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth can be viewed from a cruise that departs from the Bayside Marina located near Disney's Yacht and Beach Club resorts. Please keep in mind that fireworks can be cancelled due to inclement weather. My personal favorite is the Illuminations: Reflections of Earth cruise.

    All cruises include a blissful ride around the area before docking for a great view of the show. You will also find light snacks and drinks aboard the boat. However, since you are celebrating such a great milestone, you may want to inquire about a more elaborate celebration including a cake... yum! For a fee you can also have your boat decked out with a celebration banner. I encourage you to make your reservation as soon as possible as these cruises book up quickly. You can make your reservation by calling (407) 939-1929. Congratulations on your retirement. I can't think of a better way to celebrate than a fireworks cruise at the Walt Disney World Resort.
