    Hi there! Hoping to find out a soft estimate of opening date for Disneyland? I have airline tickets and hotel booked in early May. Will they allow non-Californian residents?

    Hi Kimberly, 

    Thank you for taking the time to send your question to us here at planDisney.  I have been dreaming of the day where Disneyland Resort reopens and I can enjoy a delicious snack from Corn Dog Castle at Disney California Adventure Park!  

    I have great news, Kimberly.  Last week, Disney announced that Disneyland Resort will be reopening on April 30, 2021 along with Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa on April 29, 2021.  Due to current guidelines, the reopening is scheduled for California Residents at this point, however I would keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as well as the official Disneyland Resort Website for any news regarding the reopening and changing guidelines.  Since you are from out of state, I would recommend calling to speak with a Cast Member who will be able to assist with your reservation.  

    Since the news is so recent, we are still anxiously waiting to hear when Theme Park Tickets will be available for purchase as well as when bookings will open for Resort Hotel Stays.  My fingers are crossed for some extra Pixie Dust so that you will be able to visit Disneyland Resort soon!
