Hi! I am hoping to do the Fairy Tale Challenge in 2019 for my 30th birthday, but I'm terrified that it will sell out immediately. If I can't book it online as soon as it opens, are there other ways to register for the challenge?

    Hello Erica!

Happy 30th birthday! The Fairy Tale Challenge sounds like a perfect way to celebrate. My first runDisney race was the Princess Half Marathon, and then I really caught the runDisney bug. Yes, race registrations do usually sell out quickly, but all hope is not lost if you're unable to secure registration before it sells out. I suggest being online when registration opens, and keeping an eye on the runDisney website to find out when they announce the date.

Your other options include purchasing a race bib through a travel agent or by raising money with a charity. You may be required to also purchase a Walt Disney World Resort hotel room and Walt Disney World theme park tickets, which makes it convenient for the rest of your vacation planning. On the "Registration" tab, you'll find a list of Travel Providers and Charity Groups for next year once they become available on the Princess Half Marathon Weekend event page.

Good luck, Erica! I'm wishing you all the pixie dust that you'll be able to run 19.3 magical miles to celebrate your 30th birthday. If you have any other questions, please come back and see us real soon.
