Hoping for end of Oct/12...did POFQ an update? Also this might be a silly question but does "french" have anything to do with the language...my husband and I do not speak French. Looking forward to making our decision right away. Thanks a lot!

    Bonjour Peggy!

I just returned from a delightful stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort French Quarter earlier this month.  I can verify first-hand that the rooms have been recently updated.  They are gorgeous, spacious, and well-appointed. I was there as part of a group of 21 and we all loved staying there.  Being able to take a boat from the back of the resort to Downtown Disney was such a treat!  I also appreciated that this is the smallest of the moderate resorts.  It has a much more intimate feel than the other Disney resorts in this category.  I think it would be an excellent choice for your upcoming fall visit.

This resort got its name because it is themed after the French Quarter region of New Orleans.  While you may hear a little French spoken here and there in New Orleans, I didn't hear one French word during my entire stay at this resort.  Therefore your lack of familiarity with the French language should not give you a moment's hesitation about booking your vacation at this charming resort.

    Thanks for a fun question!
