Hoping to dine at Teppan Edo and any of the restaurants in Mexico when we visit in January. Both have been on the DP in the past, but are not now. Worried that if I wait to find out if they are on the DP in 2012, we won't be able to get ADRs. Advice?

Hi Kristin!

According to the 2011 Disney Dining Plan (DDP) document found here (pg. 5), they all are participating restaurants this year (and I know they've participated in the past). Now, the 2012 guide doesn't currently list them as participating...BUT...the closer we get to the end of the year, the more restaurants will re-new their DDP contract. This happens almost every year, and there are many more added on to the plan as the New ?Year draws closer. (keep in mind these restaurants are not owned by Disney, which is why they aren't initially listed)

If you would like to dine at either place, I would go ahead and book NOW, and then, if...for some reason, they are not on the plan, you can always cancel your reservation. I really do believe (based on their history), that they will be added soon.
