I am hoping for my daughter to get hair and makeup completed by a princess at Disney California. I can't find that option online.

Royal greetings, Ericka, and a warm welcome to planDisney!

I can’t wait for you and your daughter to embark on a royal adventure at the Happiest Place on Earth in April! I believe you’re referring to the magical makeovers at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, which is located inside Disneyland Park. Here, Princesses and Princes can experience regal makeovers by their very own Fairy Godmother-in-training or Coachman.

Though the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the Disneyland Resort is open for shopping, unfortunately makeovers aren’t currently being offered there as part of the phased reopening. We don’t have any news on when this pixie-dusted magic will return to Disneyland Park just yet. So, I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for any new announcements about the reopening of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique – this is the best spot for any breaking Disney Parks news!

In the meantime, there are still plenty of ways to experience Disney Princess magic at the Disneyland Resort! In fact, no royal Disney day is complete without the ultimate enchanted experience at Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose. This upscale restaurant is located inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and it includes an unforgettable 3-course breakfast, along with super-special encounters with favorite Disney Princesses. Your daughter can choose from fun options like princess waffles or even chocolate princess cake pops! If this sounds like something your daughter may enjoy, I recommend booking a reservation soon, as they tend to go quickly!

Afterward, stop by Sephora in Downtown Disney District. Your daughter can get a simple makeover there to prepare her for her royal day ahead.

Next, head on over to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for a royal shopping spree! Here, you’ll find a wide variety of royal attire and accessories to choose from to complete your daughter’s Princess-inspired look. Plus, you can still ask a Fairy Godmother-in-training or a Coachman at the shop for a sprinkling of pixie dust – this is such a special touch for your little one to still feel magic during her visit!

After being pixie-dusted, I recommend heading toward Fantasy Faire, which is located just a few steps away from the Boutique. There, you’ll find a constant rotation of favorite Disney Princesses at Royal Theatre. Though these greetings are socially-distanced, you can still get a great picture and even have a chat with each Princess!

I hope this information helps you and your daughter enjoy many magical adventures together, Ericka!

    See ya’ real soon!
