Hey there, Jason!
Thanks for stopping in to see us at planDisney! Each of us on the planDisney Panel appreciates the chance to help you plan your most magical Disney destination vacation by sharing ideas from our own Disney experiences.
Jason, I love your question. While I know you didn't ask a question in the literal sense, I think I hear the spirit of your question as "I really want to enjoy my Disney vacation and I think there's a lot to figure out and I'd really like some help putting the pieces together."
Yours is the type of question I get from so many family members and friends. It's the type of question where I'd really welcome an opportunity to spend maybe half an hour to sit down and talk through the big planning questions -- where to stay, what theme park tickets to buy, and how many days to stay. These are the questions you want to answer when you book your stay. I think many of the other typical questions -- what attractions are must-do, what shows are must-see, how to plan a full day, how to visit multiple parks in a day, how to get around -- can all be thought through and addressed as your vacation gets closer.
So here's my thinking, Jason. You can take an easy do-it-yourself approach to booking your Walt Disney World Resort vacation with the tools available online at
DisneyWorld.com. For the planning part of the process, you can bring your questions to us here at planDisney and we can offer all our advice. We love it when Guests come back and ask multiple questions that come up as they're making their plans.
If you're truly looking for that extra end-to-end assistance to help you plan your whole Walt Disney World Resort vacation, you might want to consider working with an experienced travel agent. If you prefer working with someone who can handle all your Disney planning details, I recommend searching online for a travel agent who has earned the distinction of "Authorized Disney Vacation Planner." Agents who have this designation are specialists in planning a whole Disney experience.
If you're open to a do-it-yourself approach, start with the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see that there are park reservations available for when you want to visit. Then go to the
"Book your Walt Disney World Vacation today" planning tools. You can provide some basic info -- your travel dates and your travel party -- and you'll see a variety of choices from the
Disney Resorts Collection. You can use the Resort overviews to see more about the Resorts, their location, and their distinctive Disney theming. After you select your Resort, you can purchase your theme park tickets. I always recommend adding the Park Hopper Option that allows you to visit more than one theme park in the same day. If you would like some assistance in completing your booking, you can call the Walt Disney Travel Company at (407) 939-7675. After you purchase your tickets, you can make your theme park reservations with the
Disney Park Pass system.
You mentioned that you are interested in booking a
Disney Private VIP Tour. You can book these tours directly by calling (407) 560-4033. This phone number is specifically for VIP Tours.
Jason, here's to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
