Welcome back to planDisney, Marlana!
How fun that you're planning a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth with your very own Prince Charming. Walt Disney World Resort is the
practically perfect place to celebrate a happily ever after! Of course, I might be a bit biased. My husband and I have been Disney dating since we spent our honeymoon at Walt Disney World over a decade ago. In fact, we'll be there this Valentine's Day, so I'm delighted that you allowed this question to
be mine!
While you won't typically find Valentine's Day-specific decor or events at Walt Disney World Resort, love is in the air (and the kitchen) with specially-themed treats available for purchase, and if you'd like to capture memories of your magical day,
Disney PhotoPass often features fun props and Magic Shots just for the occasion.
The Disney Parks Blog releases a fun Foodie Guide before holidays and seasonal events to highlight what's cooking, and this year's
Valentine's Day Foodie Guide is filled with a variety of red and pink sweet treats. Snack sharing is my love language, so nothing sounds more romantic to me than walking down Main Street, U.S.A. while holding hands and splitting a heart-shaped treat from
Main Street Confectionery as bubbles and balloons float in the breeze.
Although not exclusive to Valentine's Day, there are a few places at Walt Disney World Resort that ooze pixie-dusted romance to me, and I'd love to recommend them to you, Marlana.
- Tony's Town Square Restaurant is the perfect place for a bella notte with your Valentine. Although not required, you might even consider sharing a plate of spaghetti and meatballs just like the classic canine couple, Lady and the Tramp.
- Want to feel like a teenager again? At Sci-Fi Dine In Theatre Restaurant you'll sit in a car-shaped booth watching vintage movie clips as you dine. I'm not sure if it's sitting side by side or the dim lighting, but this particular restaurant is surprisingly romantic.
- While all Walt Disney World Resort lounges feature immersive theming and well-crafted cocktails and mocktails, Enchanted Rose at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa would be my top choice for a romantic evening. Inspired by Beauty and the Beast, the decor, menu, and views feel worthy of a fairytale castle.
I'm so glad your heart led you to planDisney, Marlana. I hope this information was helpful and that you're making magical memories with your husband so very soon. If you need any additional assistance as you prepare for your visit, feel free to
stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
