    We are hoping to bring our 2 year old to WDW in November/December 2009. He is a light sleeper. What hotel is best for putting his crib in another room/area so he can sleep and peace and we can stay up? We are open to any category and park.

    Hi Peg,

    It sounds like you are interested in accommodations with a bit of extra space so that your little guy can sleep soundly while you enjoy some adult time.  Fortunately, there are rooms in each category of accommodation that can meet your needs.  Here are some recommendations:

    • In the value category, I recommend the family suites at All Star Music Resort.  I had an opportunity to tour these large rooms a while back, and was very impressed.  Each suite has a separate master bedroom and living room area, a kitchenette and two full bathrooms.  The kitchenette includes a mini refrigerator, sink and microwave.
    • In the moderate category, I think the cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort are fabulous!  Each cabin also has a separate bedroom and living room, along with a full kitchen (with dishwasher, oven, refrigerator and microwave.)  The kitchen is great for preparing a few quick meals and snacks, and saving money on concessions in the parks.  The cabins also have a private deck with bbq.
    • In the deluxe category, I would recommend a one bedroom villa at any of the Disney Vacation Club properties.  These, too have separate bedroom and living rooms, as well as a full kitchen, living room and dining area.  In addition, they have a washer/dryer, which is very useful with little ones in tow!  Some of our favorite DVC properties include the Beach Club Villas and Kidani Village at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

    Whichever spacious accommodations you opt for, have a wonderful Disney trip!
