We are hoping to bring out own stainless steel, spoon, fork, chopsticks, and straws into the parks. Are those items allowed so we don't have to use the plastic silverware and straws at the quick dining locations?

    Greetings Lois!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by with your excellent question!

There are a few items I always have on hand for a day at Disneyland! Minnie Mouse ears, an external battery and my reusable utensils! I always bring a set of bamboo chopsticks, fork, spoon, knife and straw with me. I love to eat and drink my way through the Disneyland Resort, but I’m trying to reduce the amount of waste I create. Bringing your own reusable utensils to the Disneyland Resort is a great way to be more sustainable and the items you mentioned will certainly be permitted in the parks!

I also like to bring a collapsible cup with me. Some people prefer to bring a water bottle, but I find they are a little too bulky for me. Whichever vessel you choose, water bottle refill stations are located throughout both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. A map of drinking fountains can be found on the Disneyland Resort website. Unfortunately, the map does not separate the refill stations from the water fountains. Fortunately for you, my friend and fellow panelist, Tony S., compiled a comprehensive list of water bottle refill locations at the Disneyland Resort. Thanks to him, you'll have no trouble staying hydrated!

Thank you for your efforts to go green! Enjoy your visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
