Hello, I am hoping to book World Of Colour dessert party and read that you can book 60 days out . However I have checked and tickets only seem to be showing available for the next 30 days. Do you know when tickets for late September are released? Thank you

G'day, Jade, and welcome to planDisney! I love that the World of Color Dessert Party is on your radar – I went with my mom and sister recently, and it was so much fun! I have a few thoughts about the calendar that I'm happy to share.

Jade, you're right that dining reservations can be booked as far as 60 days out, but there are times when reservations are not released right at the 60-day mark. In fact, new dining opportunities may be released anytime between 60 days and 1 day out.

Looking at the World of Color Dessert Party availability for September, you'll see a lot of dates with a slash. The dining event will not be available on those dates due to the Oogie Boogie Bash, a separately ticketed after-hours event.

Other dates on the September calendar currently have a circle and slash. This icon typically indicates that reservations are not available. I did some comparing with the Hours & Events Calendar, and it looks like World of Color is still scheduled for those dates. That could mean reservations are fully booked already (although that seems unlikely to me at this point), reservations are not being offered, or reservations are just not showing as available in the system yet. My best advice is to keep checking back, Jade. It's possible that reservations will be released in the coming weeks.

I'll wish upon a star that you'll have a chance to experience the World of Color Dessert Party during your visit. The show itself is fun, but it's certainly enhanced when you have a comfortable seat, a box of tasty desserts and a few savory snacks, drinks, and a great view. I am plant-based, and was even able to request a vegan-friendly box of desserts.

If it doesn't work out and the dessert party is unavailable, there are some alternative experiences you might consider:

    • Book the Paint the Night Dining Package to enjoy a delicious lunch at Plaza Inn, followed by reserved viewing of one of my favorite nighttime shows! Imagine more than one million colorful LED lights, high-energy music, and dazzling floats making their way along the parade route. I would highly recommend making time to see this show, with or without the dining package.
    • Trader Sam's Mixology Seminar is returning to the Disneyland Hotel on September 29, 2025, just in time for you! There's a fireside reception with live music where you'll be served a drink and appetizers. You'll also take home a special mug and learn how to craft two beverages. It's a unique experience!
    • Character Dining is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a sit-down meal while being visited by Disney pals! Storytellers Cafe is my favorite spot, and in the fall, you can choose from two themed experiences, depending on whether you go for breakfast/brunch or dinner.
Jade, I hope this information has sprinkled a little pixie dust on your plans. Please keep checking the World of Color Dessert Party reservations, and think about some of these other opportunities as backups. If you have any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
