Laurie from MI Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

We are hoping to book our next disney vacation soon, at the Wilderness Lodge, and I'll have a 35 lb 4 yr old with me who is used to the swim vest type that has the arm wings on the sides. Is this style available on site, or should I pack it to bring?

    Hiya, Laurie!

A rustic getaway awaits you at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge! Forest trails, trickling creeks, and natures finest air create an ambiance you’ll crave for a lifetime.

I’m happy to inform you that there are life jackets available at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge pools! Your little swimmer should feel comfortable as there are also life jackets that have arm wings/bands! Their dip with Dory will be safe and familiar. These life jackets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If, for some reason, the life jackets with arm wings are all in use, I’d recommend visiting the front desk of your hotel for assistance!

If members of your party crave splashing in more than just the pools found at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, check out the Water Parks at Walt Disney World! There’s something for everyone and it’s my favorite way to cool off!

Adventure is out there, Laurie! If you find yourself with more questions before your approaching vacation, give a little whistle to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We would love to hear from you again!
