If we are hoping to avoid your typical raining season what time frames should we attempt to schedule around? Our travel plans could fall between mid Sept to mid Nov. Thank you!

    Hi Debra,

It's great to have flexibility in your travel timing. Late October to mid-November is when you can usually expect to find the least rain, low humidity and smaller crowds. November is normally the driest month in Central Florida. You likely will experience high temperatures around 80 and lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.

That's also a great time to catch many special events at Walt Disney World such as Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (select nghts through Nov. 1); the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival (through Nov. 11); Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (select nights beginning Nov. 8); and the Festival of the Masters art show at Downtown Disney (Nov. 8-10). The parks and resorts make the transition from fall decorations to holiday decorations between the end of October and mid-November as well.

I hope that is useful information to help you decide on your travel dates. Please feel free to write back if I can help if you with any other planning questions. Enjoy your visit!
