    Hello! We are hoping to attend MVMCP in December 2020. Trying to make hotel reservations and catch the very last party date. Is there any rhyme or reason to the dates they typically select for this ticketed event?

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I think Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is the best way to celebrate the holiday season at Walt Disney World Resort. This past year I was able to attend the first party of the season in November. It was a fantastic way to get into the holiday spirit. I don't think I'll ever forget dancing with a reindeer at Club Tinsel!
    I did some digging and it looks like over the past ten years the last Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party of the year has been held on dates ranging from December 18 to December 22. I tried to see if there was a pattern based on which day of the week Christmas fell but there was no discernible pattern. It does seem that dates for the party were announced anywhere from mid-March to mid-April. I recommend keeping your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for any news about the parties. I hope this information helps you plan your travel dates. 
    This holiday season I'm hoping we will see the return of the Merry Menagerie at Disney's Animal Kingdom. I had the chance to interact with the Menagerie and they were spellbinding. I could have watched them all day. I highly recommend a holiday visit to Disney's Animal Kingdom to check them out.
