Hi! We are hoping to be able to go to WDW closer to the end of this year, thinking we would like to go when we can see the Christmas decorations up. When would be a good and cheaper time to go? Thanks!

    Hello Brandy!

Christmas time at Walt Disney World is my favorite time of year to go visit Mickey Mouse! There are so many beautiful decorations all over Walt Disney World's Parks and Resorts.

If you can believe it, the Christmas decorations typically are up a few days after Halloween! Most of the major decorations are installed months in advance so the transformation from Halloween to Christmas is rather quick. I remember in the past there have been special rates between Thanksgiving and the second weekend in December. I would keep an eye on the Resort Special Offers page to see when they release the specials for this year.

Thank you for asking the Moms Panel, Brandy! Please let us know if you have additional questions! Have a great day!
