Hopefully staying at french quarter in January can you rent a toaster or microwave for your room at all

Hi Niki! Welcome back to planDisney. It's great to see you here again.

I'm sending you all the travel pixie dust that your plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort come true! I know our international friends have been counting down the days to being able to see Mickey again, and I'm so happy to hear you're just a dream away.

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is a beautiful choice for your stay. I adore the lovely landscaping, charming walkways, and - of course - the can't-miss beignets at Scat Cat's Club.  Be sure to take a walk along the Sassagoula River or a river cruise to Disney Springs

Unfortunately, you will not be permitted to have a toaster in your room because most small appliances are not allowed for fire code reasons. You may request a microwave from the front desk, but be aware that they usually have a very limited supply of those, and they are prioritized for those with a medical need. You will find both a toaster and a microwave for Guest use in Sassagoula Floatworks & Food Factory, which is the Quick-Service dining location. Because this resort is small, it won't be too far of a walk from your room.

Enjoy every minute of your visit, Niki! I see you'll be arriving when the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is underway, and I hope you make plans to join the fun at this celebration of visual, performing, and culinary arts. Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for more details and fun planning tips. As you count down the days and dream about your visit, please come back and see us if you have any further questions.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
