Hi! I hope you're having a good day; I was just curious because my partner and I are going to Disneyland in Anaheim, and we both love Stitch. We were wondering if it has to be the Disney Visa Card or if it can be any Chase Credit card to see him.

Greetings, Jenny. Thanks for stopping by planDisney!

Like you, I adore Stitch, so I appreciate that you'd love to grab a photo with our cute and fluffy pal on your visit to the Disneyland Resort. The Disney® Visa® Cardmember Photo Opportunity is a perk exclusive to cardholders and is one that people of all ages can enjoy. To use this perk you must have a Disney® Visa® Credit or Debit card -- and not just any Chase card. If you aren't sure, you will want to check your card's terms and conditions to see if this special Character Experience is one of your card's benefits. In my experience, a Cast Member will ask to see the Chase Disney Visa before allowing you to join the character experience queue so you will need to have a participating Chase card. I'm sorry if this is not the answer you were hoping for.

Jenny, if you have your heart set on a photo with Stitch, the Chase Disney Visa card has lots of perks. My family and I use the discounts on select dining and merchandise almost every time we visit the Disneyland theme parks. There are also discounts on guided tours and, periodically, Disneyland Resort Hotel stays. I encourage you to take a look at the perks of the Disney Visa debit and credit cards and decide whether you might want to become a card member before your visit in May. Also, please be aware that these character experiences are subject to availability and there is no guarantee of seeing a specific character. I like to check with a Cast Member at the experience to see if they know a character's schedule for the day. They are usually happy to help if they are able!

It looks like your visit will coincide with two exciting events - Pixar Fest and the Season of the Force. Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Park Blog for Foodie Guides for both events. They also release lots of great information on things going on in all Disney parks. It's a great resource!

I hope this answers your question, Jenny. Please visit us again with any other questions!

    Stay magical,
    Melissa
