Hi, I hope someone can help me! I am looking at a Disney vacation package on Southwest website.... the deal says kids stay and eat free. I am wondering how the dining plan works if kids eat free?

    Hi Michael!

The "Kids Eat Free" deal is a fantastic promotion! For that matter, any Disney deal or discount ranks high in my "A-OK" list :-)

When they say kids eat free, what Disney defines as a kid is any child between the ages of 3-9 years old (Children 0-less than 3 years old already eat free).

You will pay your reservation and dining as you normally do, just minus any charges for kids between the aforementioned ages. The appropriate entitlements for both adults and children will already be accounted for on your Keys to the World cards when you check-in. You will get a card for each adult, plus each child between 3-9.

Here is how the dinings shake out...

    Quick Service Dining is:

    For Breakfast
    • 1 entrée or 1 complete combo meal
    • 1 single-serving, non-alcoholic beverage
    For Lunch and Dinner
    • 1 entrée or 1 complete combo meal
    • 1 dessert
    • 1 single-serving, non-alcoholic beverage
    • 1 snack
    Standard Dining is:

    1 Table-Service Meal
    • 1 entrée
    • 1 dessert (lunch and dinner only)
    • 1 single-serving, non-alcoholic beverage
    Or
    • 1 full buffet
    • 1 Quick-Service Meal

    and Deluxe Dining is:

    3 Meals

Each adult or child table-service meal includes:

    • 1 appetizer (lunch and dinner only), 1 entrée and 1 dessert (lunch and dinner only)
    • 1 single-serving, non-alcoholic beverage
    Or
    • 1 full buffet
    *1 quick-service meal
    **2 snacks

Hope this helps. May you and family bring your appetites and have tons of fun!
