Hi there! I hope all is well. Can you please help me find dining options for dietary restrictions? Restrictions are vegetarian, allergic to gluten, and allergic to tree nuts. We are visiting in Nov. and have park hopper passes. Thank you!

    Hi Rachel!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your questions about food allergies and dietary needs! When it comes to dining with allergies and special dietary needs, I completely understand how important it is to enjoy a meal while ensuring everyone stays safe and happy. My family’s dining needs are a bit like Remy’s kitchen—lots of different ingredients to consider! My daughter is lactose intolerant and can’t eat soy, my mother-in-law has allergies to nuts, strawberries, and chocolate, and I personally have a pineapple allergy and gluten sensitivity. So, trust me when I say—we’ve become seasoned pros at navigating Disney’s allergy-friendly dining options!

Disney truly goes to infinity and beyond when it comes to accommodating special dietary needs, including food allergies, intolerances, and medically restricted diets. At table-service restaurants and select quick-service locations, you’ll find allergy-friendly and plant-based options thoughtfully prepared.

Here are a few pro tips to make your dining experience as magical as possible:

    1. Check the Menus in Advance: Before selecting a restaurant, take a peek at the My Disney Experience app or Disney’s website. Find a restaurant where you are interested in dining and locate the menu. Scroll down on the menu, and you’ll find allergy-friendly options. For example, Be Our Guest currently offers a Charred Eggplant entrée that accommodates gluten/wheat, egg, fish/shellfish, milk, peanut/tree nut, sesame, and soy allergies!

    2. Speak with a Chef: When checking in for a table-service meal, let the Cast Member know about any allergies in your party. You’ll be offered an allergy-friendly menu, and you can also request to speak with a chef—they’re always happy to help and may have custom options available!

    3. Look for the Allergy Stick: When your meal arrives, it will have an allergy stick inside, making it easy to tell apart from other dishes—just one more way Disney ensures your meal is safe and stress-free.

    4. Ask Questions: While Disney takes every precaution to accommodate dietary needs, they can’t guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment. However, in my experience, they always go above and beyond to create a magical and safe dining experience for every guest.
Rachel, I hope this helps you feel more confident about dining at Disney! If you have any more questions, feel free to come back and visit again.

    See you real soon,
    Christina
