Hello there Maria! Welcome to planDisney, we're so glad you're here!
How exciting that you're planning a trip to the
Disneyland Resort! You are able to purchase your
theme park tickets on the Disneyland site or through the
Disneyland app. You will be able to select the number of days you'll be visiting the theme parks for, as well as indicate the number of adult and child tickets.
Once you've purchased your theme park tickets, you'll need to make a corresponding
theme park reservation for each ticket. The
theme park reservation availability calendar is a great resource for planning your trip, you'll definitely want to make sure your dates are available before booking.
Another option for your tickets would be to add on the
Park Hopper option, which will give you the ability to visit both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park on the same day, subject to availability. When you make your theme park reservations, you'll choose the first park you'll want to visit on that date, and then you can cross over to the other park on that same day starting at 11:00 AM (subject to availability). You can reference the
Park Hours calendar for the most up-to-date Park Hopper hours.
Maria, I also recommend exploring
Disney Genie+ Service for your trip! You'll need to purchase Disney Genie+ Service for each member of your party, and it will give you access to
Lightning Lane entrances and shorter wait times. We purchase the service each trip, it is so helpful to have shorter wait times with younger kids!
I hope this information is helpful for your upcoming trip! If we can help with any other planning questions,
please come back and ask!
Have a magical day,
Melissa
