Hi Moms! Hope you can help me with scheduling. Staying at POR, have a 9:30 pm reserv at T-rex. We are thinking of going to one of the water parks but also want to stop at MK. Should we do MK before or after the water park?

Hello Kristina!  Thanks for asking your questions here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We love helping plan magical vacations to Walt Disney World.

If it were me, I would try to be at Magic Kingdom right when the park opens.  If your lucky, it will be a morning with Extra Magic Hours so the park will be less crowded right away.  I would try to pick a few of my favorite attractions to ride on and then schedule my FastPass+ selections for mid-morning.  After you've hit your favorites, I'd head back to the hotel to change for the water park.  To save on time, I suggest grabbing a quick bite to eat at your resorts food court and then leave for the water park.  I would spend the late afternoon and early evening at the water park and then go back to the resort to get ready for dinner.  I think you will find that Magic Kingdom is much less crowded at the beginning of the day versus the afternoon.

I love the Disney water parks, I am sure you are going to have a great time.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
